You know at the risk of sounding insensitive or being a prick, I must say this. I just ONCE want to be able to walk down a Huntington street, get gas, go to a restuarant, or go to the grocery store, without having to be approached or harasssed by the dregs of society.

If this could be arranged, just to have ONE day...It would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. You are visting the Xanga Site of the 2006 National Broadcasting Society's Sports Play-by-play champion, Alex Reed!

Ok, I will stop my gloating, but I am very excited. I just want to improve and try to maintain the award and win it next year. I think it is really funny that the last 3 play-by-play national award winners all lived in the same house together (Robert, Vince, and Me)! Robert and Vince have been big influences on me, and I owe them a great deal for their advice and encouragement. More importantly they are best friends, and they are missed. I want nothing but the best for the 3 of us to be successful in our careers.

As a whole the entire station won 11 first place awards, and 16 Honarable mentions in just 19 categories! I was also a finalist for a video award, but  I did not win. The judge wrote in his comments that my accent was very notciable and it cost me. Ummmmm Yeah, I dont have an accent, but I guess I will take some of the crack he was smoking. I suppose its safe to say that West Virginia was stereotyped once again!

Regardless, Im so proud of everyone! This years conference was in D.C. and it was a blast. Now I am in the 757, for "sprng break" or what i like to call "mid winter break". Well thats all for now! Later "y'all".

This morning as I was getting ready for the day, I was watching Maury on TV, and it was one of his many shows about the Paternity Tests., where trashy people get on there to see who the daddy is because they cheated on each other. One girl has been on there like 15 times and every time she is certain she knows who the father is,she finds out they are not. She has made a total joke of herself,  and well I laugh when i hear those words "....you are NOT the father. Next time Maury needs to say:

"When it comes to six-year old Christopher, Jamal you are NOT the father, and Tenisha you are a stupid WHORE!"

Well anyway enough with that. So yeah Grad School sucks. Buffalo Sabres are good! Ummmmmmm yeah, and congrats to my friends Mike Patton and Josh Butcher for their recent engagements. They will now become the 6th and 7th friends of mine that is married or is getting married and being involved in the dreaded "tender trap" (Just Joking). I know of a couple more friends of mine that are on the cutting edge of tying the knot. This is all really weird. Oh well, why wouln't they! Anyway Happy Groundhog Day everyone!
